Herr Wolf Lipp
My dopey, sweet rescue boy left me too Wolfy was beleaguered with problems from the moment he came to us. He was a darling boy throughout it all - never getting grumpy or complaining in any way.
When we picked him up from his previous owner, he had a very nasty facial abscess. We rushed him straight to our vet, and put him on antibiotics, we kept it clean and just hoped. Miraculously he survived (he had lost a lot of weight through not being able to eat before he came to us, and he developed a small secondary abscess on his nose so he couldn't breathe properly), and lived another few happy weeks. Unfortunately it became clear that he had something going on internally as well (something not right with his bowel :*( ), and we did what we could to keep him active, happy and pain free. He was pain free too, I believe, and spent half his life hanging off the bars like a chimp, waiting for cuddles and fuss and food! He was a real love bug, adored people, and even when getting jabs at the vet, he licked us <3
I'm gutted we didn't know him for longer he really was special.
Run free lovely boy...
And because he had a German name - this song for him...
The Beatles - Mein Herz ist bei dir nur
Mein Herz ist bei dir nur, my darling,
Mein Herz fand bei dir nur das Glück,
Noch trennen uns Länder und Meere,
Doch bald kehre ich wieder zurück.
My Bonnie lies over the ocean,
My Bonnie lies over the sea.
Well, my Bonnie lies over the ocean,
Yeah, bring back my Bonnie to me.
Yeah, bring back, ah, bring back, (now)
Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me, to me.
Oh, bring, oh bring back (now), ah, bring back,
Oh, bring back my Bonnie to me.
xx
