Lonely Rat - Dun Laoghaire
Guys,
When I was in one of the pet shops that we frequent!! I noticed that they had a solitary lone rat in one of their cages..... We know this pet shop well and have got all our fish off them..... Anyway it transpires that this rat had been handed in to them from one of their customers (Liam wasn't there when she was handed in so didn't have any more details).....
But the bottom line is that this rat is in a cage all on her own.... I suggested that I would try and post and see if anyone was interested in helping her.....?
I was debating taking her but we have a very close group of 5 sisters and I would be afraid to try and integrate this lady into our group but thought I would post it here in the hopes that maybe someone else would be in a position to help???
She looks like quite a young rat - in great condition - grey and white roan I would think (not sure what the technical term is!!)
Let me know.........?

Re: Lonely Rat - Dun Laoghaire
Is she still there? I am looking for a mate for my lonely doe, Shiva.
Still would like to know where she came from, eg, what the chances are she being pregnant.

Re: Lonely Rat - Dun Laoghaire
Francois,
I'm not sure if the rat is still there....sorry.....actually forgot about her until you posted
Perhaps give Fintastic Aquatics a ring, they are on Patricks Street in Dun Laoghaire and see if they still have her....
I seriously doubt she is/was pregnant as she was on her own!
Liam, who I spoke to at the time was not there when she had come in.....
Hope this helps and good luck

Re: Lonely Rat - Dun Laoghaire
darnit, wish I seen your post before I headed out today. We ran into a little girl and decided to take her home with us. If it weren't that Shiva had been alone for so long and getting getting more depressed and quiet by the day, I may have moved with less urgency...
I think it would be pushing it when lining up yet another introduction and save this lone doe as well

Lucy, Just spoke to the shop and they still have her..... She could really do with the company so it would be absolutely brilliant if you could take her....
I will pm you their details and hopefully you can do something...
Please let me know soon though because I am concerned about her....:-)
Thanks again

Working on transport at the moment - I live about 45 miles away from Belfast and yes I do have my own transport but not much time to drive much farther than Belfast!!
Leave it with me and I'll get back to you xx

No problem ABdou - I would be happy just to know that this girl gets the loving home and company she deserves!
