Long shot, but does anyone want to do Bradford? Katherine said she can make it up probably, we have somewhere we can probably stay (would have to double check but can't see any problems) - all we need is someone to drive us over there! Wink Just me from our end, I'd bring a couple of my guys to enter. Anyone else want to go? I can also offer the opportunity to introduce people to other UK ratters! Smile

I'm assuming you'd be boating?
Would it be to Liverpool?

I'm trying to get across to one of the leeds/yrc shows in May/June time, so maybe this would be a good practice..
My only idea would be though for me to get the boat from belfast & meet you in L'Pool or whatever dock you'd be going to & I could perhaps drive.
Also, I have family near wakefield, so I perhaps wouldn't need sleeping accomodation.

What date is it?

Of course, if we can go over at all - others are more than welcome to make their own way there and meet us at the show, or just before it so we can all go in together! Smile

It's 28th of January - and I would advise the Dublin-Liverpool crossing for reasons of cost and ease of transport to Harrogate/Leeds.

Ah, I just had a look at ferry prices & it's looking like about £200 which is super out of budget for me this month. ):

Bummer. Can you get to Dublin? It's €298 for a car and four on Liverpool Dublin - which works out at €75 each person. If we can get four people that is...

I'm looking at plane prices which would be a lot cheaper for me & would mean i'd meet you there.
Still have to work out finance & see if family could put me up then.
Will let you know in the next few days.

OK Smile I would go by plane too, but of course no rats, so I'm trying to make it do-able by boat! Smile I have a horrible feeling we're not going to pull this one off though! Sad Am definitely up for YRC shows at some stage though!

Oh I never saw the post about getting to dublin.
I would be able to get down I think. I've never driven that far alone ): But i'm sure I could try it.
And 75 is much more within price range if 4 people went (& if people could help with fuel costs over there..?)
Also, what times are the ferry?
I'd have to be back Sunday night as i'm back to uni on the Monday.
Is there 4 of us interested?

I think it's short notice, and probably people would need to book holiday time realistically - but perhaps we can do Boscome instead?

I think the ferries are at daft hours unfortunately, you'd need to have the Fri and the Mon free..
