What a great end to my birthday... coming home yesterday to find that Hoodoo had passed away, and that Claxon (poor lad Sad ) was very agitated and upset by it. He's OK now, but was very upset yesterday :*(

Hoodoo and I were never very close- and that was my fault, because Hoodoo was a dream to know. He was as friendly and adorable as any rat ever could be - but he was so very very quiet, and never really came out for cuddles without prompting - not through not wanting to, but more through shyness - and his cagemates would always pus him out of the way of the cage door. He was a bit of a wet blanket as far as dominance went.

Despite not being close, I know I'll miss him so very very much... he was such a gentle little lad - and when he got sick, along with his brother, we spent so much time looking after them and watching that they didn't crash too badly etc, that it'll be weird with them not around. I'm guessing Hoodoo couldn't wait any longer to be back with his brother Red - the two were pretty inseperable throughout their lives Sad

I'm going to miss him so much Sad and so is poor Claxon, who I fear won't be too long behind his friends Sad I really hope not though, he's done so well, and he's such a fixture here :*)

Run free Hoodoo - free from the awful CK that so hurt you and your brother. Go and find your family, I know you miss them all Sad

Muse - Hoodoo:

Come into my life
Regress into a dream
We will hide and build a new reality

Draw another picture of the life you could have had
Follow your instincts and choose the other path

You should never be afraid
You're protected from trouble and pain

Why?
Why is this a crisis in your eyes again?

Come to be?
How did it come to be?

Tied to a railroad, no love to set us free
Watch our souls fade away and our bodies crumbling

Don't be afraid
I will take the blow for you

I've had recurring nightmares that I was loved for who I am
And missed the opportunity to be a better man
