Dandelion
I've heard dandelion is quite good for rats, and I presume fresh is better but I feel wary about giving anything from the garden in case of any nasties that it could be contaminated with, what do people think?

Re: Dandelion
If you don't put down any weed killer or anything, I think ones from your own lawn will be fine after a wash. I wouldn't pick them from elsewhere though. Alternatively you can get the leaves dries in health shops sold as dandelion tea. The one above tescos in cork definitely does it.

Re: Dandelion
I've given my lot dandelion leaves before and they enjoyed them, but if you have any concerns then curly kale from the supermarket is just as good.

They're not *wild* for it, but it always gets eaten.
