food for weight gain? Empty food for weight gain?

Post by EssDubya Fri Oct 26, 2012 8:35 pm

Over the last couple of months we've lost a few rats which resulted in one boy being left on his own. As a result, I've introduced the lone male to the other pair and thankfully they're all getting along now. Over the course of the introductions, all the boys have lost some weight and one of the them has lost nearly 100g. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could feed them that will help them put the weight back on? At the moment they're on a shunamite diet with baby food and bits of regular human food. Is there anything else I could give them that's high in calories but not too bad for their health?

thanks :-)

Salmon, tinned especially, avocado, banana, nutrical (from Rat Warehouse) - this stuff is amazing!, baby foods, complan, coconut milk etc.
