My poor Rosi Empty My poor Rosi

Post by Videli Fri Jan 10, 2014 12:18 am

I am so unhappy today Sad

Yesterday I realized that Rosalina has a tumor again. That poor poor thing!

She already went bravely through 3 surgerys having tumors removed. I cant believe she has to suffer from one again!  It makes me so angry.

Now that she is three years old I have decided not to do another surgery. This is really hard on me, because there is no other way to help her. But her health is not the best any more anyways and I fear she will not make it through surgery. :(The lump is still quite small under her front leg, but I've seen it enough times in my rats to know how quickly they grow.

At the moment she is happy and licky and likes to eat and drink and loves her treats as ever. Also even when seeming weak from time to time, she has a hell lot of strengh in her when in comes to not sharing nuts and yoghurtdrops with her cagemates! My lovely naughty old lady <3

I thought to post that here because it makes me feel a little better...

Very sorry to hear this.

I have no idea about the success of this recipe or if it works at all but just so you know about it - http://ratz.co.uk/antilump.html

Best wishes.

Joolz's anti lump mix used to be very popular - I don't know myself how successful it is - it is quite costly to make though. You can also try galastop?

Whatever you decide, I think you've made the right choice not to operate - and I hope she gets to live a reasonable amount more time <3

Sorry to hear that. hopefully it won't slow her down too much

Our sweet (and snarling) Dizzy also has another lump, two acutally and we have decided to do the same. she is over two and is starting to have HLD and is getting snotty so i don't think she would do well under anastethic.
