Please give a warm welcome to Benden Oddbod (a Pearl Double Rex) - who Kate Ford very kindly offered to me to hopefully start a pearl line here. He's in with our lovely cinn doe, Fondlewife, right now (she was in season last night, but he wasn't interested :-\ Sad) - so hopefully we won't have too long to wait.

He's a lovely soul, very quiet and gentle, and licky too. A really sweet boy.

Love the middle two pics, he looks so cute.
Just wanted to ask is that his skin through his coat?
I thought Rex coat was thicker?
Love the curly whiskers Big Grin

Rex coat is thicker Smile you're quite correct. He's a double rex, which is two copies of the rex gene. It thins the hair right out - they can have more or less hair than Bod has. It's not a variety I'd breed for personally, but I have no real issue with it.
