Not much going on. Pretending to be a responsible adult. Trying to find work. Attempting to hold all my molecules together while the daystar tries to kill me... Hope your holidays were fun

Been working very hard on photography and loving it. I could not be more sure that this is what I need to do.
Rats are doing well mostly. Hey... We need a meet up. Who fancies a free for all informal BBQ and pet show? Need a suitable venue... Can be my house, but we are out in the sticks. Anyone volunteering?

We may technically be able to do something... but with our flat on the 3rd floor and the 'garden' being a working set for the original Jurassic Park set, we may not be ideal

I'd offer, but I haven't met anyone in person yet. I'd love to meet up, though!
Once I know people, I'd gladly let people gather at my place for an evening of food drink and chat. I quite often like cooking Korean-style food if anyone is interested in that. I basically live just outside Cork City Center.

May I suggest a nice pub in the city for a get-together night of meet and greet?

Well, I'm not a social butterfly, more a blind, whip-tail scorpion that shuns light and the local populace.... but I wouldn't mind an hour or two of polite chatter and interactivity of rat persons

I know the Oliver Plunkett pub in the city center is pretty big and has an upstairs.

For some people there is the issue of parking though, so city center may be a little much. Near me there is Fionnbarra's, has a great outdoor, loads of food and generally chill/quiet atmosphere. Some on street parking available nearby. The Franciscan Well on the other side of the city is also in a quiet area where parking may be more available, but does not do food as far as I'm aware. In both cases it may be best for those driving to park in the city anyway. B*D*S*M* is supposed to have great atmosphere, and have amazing cocktails, but I have also heard it is loud and generally quite populated.
I don't drive myself, and am not a big pub person, but I also live right by the city so I'll leave it up to those that have the bigger commitments to choose what is suitable for them.

The Sextant might be a good pub to get together. It has an outside, is relatively spacious, and it not so crowded in the earlier part of the evening.

Hey !
I feel ashamed... I have check on the forum several times over the last months although I was (very) busy, and I only notice today that I was no longer signed in... no wonder why there was no new messages !!!
Anyway, a meeting sounds very nice and if it has not been set up yet, I would love to be part of it ! If you guys are brave enough to come to Mitchelstown, my door is open !! Otherwise I'll come to Cork for sure !
Hope you are all doing well ! I have been so busy lately... but I have the love of my two girls that keeps me smiling every morning ! They are so great !!
