In love with them... want to keep them... trying to have some common sense and let them go! Not easy... but Karl Has Spoken. Sooo... they are looking for the right home, and home will be subject to the same application process as our kittens.

Not letting them go for a couple of weeks anyway - seeing if I can sort Tim's sinus trouble out first.

They are SO gorgeous! I am actually in love with them!
But I only have room for 2 and they'd have to be 10-11 months or older for me to justify it ):

Ahh I'm in love! Henry looks just like my Lenny and Mike, just reminded me of how much I miss them Sad And Tim looks like Oscar, they're all beautiful! How old are they? That must have been so sad for their owner, I can't imagine it...

Oh! Oh! Relations you say? Might we have a better chance of introducing Oscar to them since they're related...? Or has he been on his own too long now to try again, do you think? Just asking out of curiosity of course!! Wink My circumstances changed today - as of this evening, my boyfriend's car is now here in Dublin... a car which I just got insured on... and could possibly drive down to you... if you thought we might have a better chance of success?!?!? Oh by the way, I finally found a great home for the two white ones - I tried a few more times over the holidays to introduce them to Oscar but had absolutely no luck! Tonight is their first night in their new home, they are now living with kirm in kildare, and I'm very happy about it - she had done so much research and they will have a lovely big cage... Can't wait to see pics of them enjoying all that space, they deserve it. Anyway, let me know if you think it's worth it to try Oscar with his relatives! x

Shanty - if you want to try, I'd be more than happy to. Perhaps if you brought Oscar down to us, we can have a go at introing for you? You could stay down for a night if you like and we can see what we can do? It's just a thought? Smile

Laura, if you think we have a shot, I'd love to try! Do you think it could work? As I've said before, Oscar seems happy in himself - certainly not depressed - but I owe it to him to try everything I can. It's fine when he's out lounging with me, happy as Larry, but when I think of all those hours that he's in the cage on his own, with no grooming or snuggle buddies... Sad It wouldn't be too dangerous at this stage, given that he's been alone for a good few months now?? He's pretty set in his ways now, I'm so worried he'll get hurt Cry but it's worth a try I think. Hopefully he won't be traumatised by the many attempts at introducing him to the others Roll Eyes Are you sure you wouldn't mind giving it a go?? I'm sure you have a million other things to do! xx

Let me know how you get on with Oscar and these boys - if any of them are still looking for a home I'd be happy to take one or two of them.

Thanks,

David.

I'm so happy that they've found a home!!! And yet.... a little knot formed in my stomach when I read this... think I had been subconsciously holding on to the hope that I might be able to take them somehow, someday... How stupid! Realistically I knew they wouldn't stay 'homeless' forever, and it's not like I had expected them to be there waiting for me whenever I magically got the time and money to go down to Cork, but I suppose I'm just a bit taken aback by the realisation that the option is no longer there, if you know what I mean? Sorry if this sounds awfully selfish, I don't mean it to, I'm just trying (very badly) to explain my mixed feelings! SO happy that they're going to the loving home they deserve, and slightly sad that it's not with me!! (if that makes sense?!) To whoever the new owner is, if you're on this forum, I wish you all the best - may your future be bright and ratty Grin xx

(((hug))) I know how much you were hoping for them shanty - but I also know it may have been a hell of a lot of heartache for you too. I'm glad you understand about them going to someone else. Thank you for all loving so much, this forum really has some of Ireland's best people on it <3
