Aeris Aybe Sea :*(

I was really shocked to find Bea gone yesterday... she was still so fit and full of life such a short time ago. Seems like no time past that I was showing her to some people visiting the rats to explain a velvet coat. Bea was a squawky old thing! People knew her as the rat that got *really* annoyed if we picked her up most of the time! There was no nastiness in it, ever, but she really would rather you buggered off and left her alone! She was a really quirky little soul - her and her sister Valarie both. Valarie I know will be missing her, the two were like peas in a pod, and extremely close to each other.

I think poor Bea had the startings of a PT, and then had a stroke last night which is what killed her when we found her she was lying on her side in a coma, so we kept her warm and comfortable and she slowly slipped away.

She was such a beautiful girl - everyone always commented on her stunning coat and colour - and her bright boot button eyes she was just gorgeous. Thank you to Shelley for letting her and her sister come to us - I know we bred their parents, but they were very much your guys <3

Oh Laura, I'm so sorry to read that you have had another loss at the rattery. It is always such a shock when it comes, and especially so suddenly and unexpectedly like Bea. She looked a real stunner, Keeping you in my thoughts, Steve

Oh no How very sad. You have such wonderful guys but sadly you seem to have so many losses, it's the name of the game I guess :'( I hope Val holds up well without her. *HUG*
