Hi all,

My daughter finally persuaded me to get her some rats, its 20 years since I last kept rats (in the UK as a teen), always had boys, all hooded rats.
While looking in maxi zoo to price equipment and foods etc, my girl fell in love with a little girl rat that ran straight out of the cage and up her arm. I gave in so now we have little Luna, now 9 weeks, but as she was the only girl we are looking for a friend or two for her. Didn't realize how hard it would be in Ireland.

Now the fun begins, my daughter is making hammocks and climbing ropes from old fleece jumpers (found ideas online)

I'm sure you'll be seeing me asking lots of questions on here, we've already read most of the forum!
I'll post a pic later when I can get more that her nose or tail, she moves very fast!

Welcome! And can't wait to see pics! I thought I was never gonna get a pics of my girls awake. I never had girls before. They're super active and fast. Lol.

I suggested Dangerous beans as Luna's name, but daughter was highly insulted (another Pratchett fan), its a boys name and her colouring is all wrong... Roll Eyes
