I have eight female rats and due to changes at home I need to rehome five or six of them. They range in age from six months to a year. I live in Meath. Anyone interested?

I'm afraid I'm a bit too far away to help but I hope you're able to find someone good to take them Smile

I'd love to take some, but I really better not since my situation is also unsure at the moment. Sad Will ask around though and see if there's anyone I know wanting some.

I would also be interested, but I'd probably need to know a bit more about them. Where did you get them? Also I'm in Limerick so that could be tricky

The black one at the back is Sooty. She'd be one of the ones I'm keeping. Smile Six of them are pet shop rats. We got them in shops in Blanchardstown, Santry and Ashbourne. Another two we got from a guy in Bray. The two we bought in Bray are albinos and are shyer than the others but once they're picked up they're ok. The others are comfortable being handled. I'm sorry to let them go but unfortunately I'm not able to keep them all anymore.

Well I'd really love to give one a home, (or 2 if they attached) if you have any left and still need a home give me a shout. Smile

Lmc - would it be easier for you to collect from Carlow? I could possibly collect from Dublin if it's easier for you to get here :-))

I live in Dunboyne. Just on the Dublin/Meath border beside Blanchardstown. Delivering anywhere to Dublin isn't a problem. I still have the six to give away so if anyone can look after them let me know!

I can meet you in Dublin City Centre and the 17th of June would be easy for me since I've already arranged to go up for a dog walk with my two lurchers. As long as the rats were in a carrier I wouldn't mind! Would you prefer to come to Carlow instead of Dub?

In that case it would be easier for me to go to meath to collect the rats - my mum wants to go to Ikea, but thanks for the offer Siofradh. I actually have an oppurtunity to collect them tomorow if that suited (I know it's short notice) If that doesnt suit I could come any of the next few weekends but not during the week
