Bongo Fury Red Hot Iron :*(

Well - today we found darling Ronnie asleep in her cage... never to wake up. Ronnie was a sweet girl, often overlooked because she was one of those quiet rats who blends in. She was a really lovely little lass though, and I often wished we'd bred from her. She never had a cross word, and was always a friend to everyone she lived with. I suspect that Pea will miss her loads, because they had become quite close since Pea's surgery.

Ronnie was a lovely looking kitten, and a seriously pretty adult too - but she developed respiratory issues in later life (suspected CK) and became rather a frail older lady. She was always ready for a cuddle though, and until the last couple of weeks she was also very active. In the last while though, she'd begun to slow right down... and more recently would only really come out of bed for food and water. She was still to be found in the hammocks on occasions, snuggled with (or being squished by) the others, but she did sleep a lot.

I'll miss her terribly... her cage now has so few girls left compared to the larger group it used to be! Sad
