Nine baby rats, 2 boys and 7 girls in need of homes. They are currently with the DSPCA and based on the description, appear to have been abandoned.

Ahh, poor things Sad I reckon the people we rescued Dean and Katherine's Mawie and Ishie from are still breeding... they said it was an accidental litter - but I have to say I am NOT convinced...

Hope not though - there were serious temperament issues :/

Oh dear Sad  they do look similar... but Ishy's the last left at 2 and a half so the parents will be long gone..... so unless they've got another roan or 2 to breed from, similar varieties is no guarantee, though I agree it's very suggestive

Well, I guess if the parents were having back to back litters there's nothing to stop them keeping from subsequent litters... mind you, it's not likely most back yard breeders tend not to understand inbreeding, and go to all sorts of lengths to avoid it.

Hopefully these little guys will find great homes Wink

7 of the nine appear to have been rehomed. There are two does left now.

I am not in a position to help at the moment but if anyone is looking for a pair of young girls, please put out the word.
