And we also lost little Dreamer when we were away. Dreamer was such a fighter. She'd gotten sick at around a year old - but never properly - like she always had a snotty nose and a slightly rattly chest. She went on like this for so long, meds of various type never touched it - but she was always so happy and bright and perky. A really sweet rat, my Dreamer. Loved coming out for cuddles - a far cry from her grumpy daughter Taz who doesn't really do people. It's always been one easy way of telling them both apart.

Dreamer was lovely looking too - people loved to see her when they visited, just to see her colour. She wasn't bad for a Russian Silver - a bit dark (most of ours are) but not bad really. Her Grandaughters did well at Bradford just gone too, which is nice <3 they both remind me a lot of her when she was a baby herself.

Run free you lovely old girl, go and find your family that went before you <3 will miss you so much.

for her... this song just seemed right :*)

Daydream Believer - The Monkees

Oh, I could hide 'neath the wings
Of the bluebird as she sings.
The six o'clock alarm would never ring.
But six rings and I rise,
Wipe the sleep out of my eyes.
My shavin' razor's cold and it stings.

Cheer up, Sleepy Jean.
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen.

You once thought of me
As a white knight on a steed.
Now you know how happy I can be.
Oh, and our good times starts and end
Without dollar one to spend.
But how much, baby, do we really need.

Cheer up, Sleepy Jean.
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen.
Cheer up, Sleepy Jean.
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen.

Cheer up, Sleepy Jean.
Oh, what can it mean.
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen.

I don't care how 'dark' she looks, I adore her colouration; the soft pinks, bright silvers... she really comes out as a beauty in your photos.
*hugs*
