My Betty

My poor Betty has had to be put to sleep. 3 days ago she became disorientated and began walking in circles. I took her to vet who gave her a steroid and antibiotic injection incase it was inner ear infection and told me to give her a day or 2, but she became progressively worse over the following day. Her hair was thinning and she wasn't eating or drinking. The vet was shining light in her eyes with no response meaning she was blind. She just shuffled around in circles and didn't respond to anything. So today I decided it was kinder to let her go. She had just turned 2, and was a real heart rat. I will miss her so much.
