My darling Elsie
I am heartbroken to say that I've had to have Elsie put to sleep this afternoon. It was her 3rd birthday today so she lived a long and happy life, but pneumonia was killing her so I decided to send her to the bridge, as she was very weak having gone downhill badly particularly over the past several days despite antibiotics and pain relief. I now have no rats left. I hope to keep them again someday. Really going to miss Elsie.

I'm so sorry
I do hope you stick around, and do keep rats again in the future.

Thank you Laura. I'll definitely be keeping rats again. They are the ideal pet and I'm really going to miss them. At the moment though I have 5 dogs, 4 cats, fish, a bird and a horse, so while I love them all dearly, at the moment I have too many pets to be taking on any more. But when I am in a position to have the time for rats again, I'll no doubt be knocking on your door.
