3 guys need a home. Urgent!

Three guys (2 brown, 1 black) need a home, together. Some kids bought them on the website without mum permission and they cant be kept. She called to my vet and want to put them to sleep tomorrow afternoon. Male are living together and are in good health conditions. I have a girl, and only one room so cant take them. DSPC-a dont take them, thats what I heard, so they need a home now!

Prob. too far for me then, plus I would only have room for 2 at a push short-term.
However, if no one else can, I could possibly foster them until they got a new home. I'd def not want them being put to sleep for no reason.
Are they still at the vets or do you have them?

They still at the vet, I see them tomorrow, and then will be know more about everything.

I can take them if someone can get them to carlow tomorrow? I have another cage, but it's not set up yet. I'm sure they'd be okay in it for the time being until I can get something sorted. Have spare water bottle and food dish- the basics. Could anyone help with transport?

Siofradg, are u want keep them or just to foster?

Foster - but knowing myself, I'll probably get attached and end up keeping them Was going to wait to get another cage - as i'd rather have a spare around but since this is urgent, i'm sure it'll be fine for now. Do you think you could get them to Carlow?

Likewise - probably they'll get a more local foster, but we can foster here in Cork if needed.

Did these boys get sorted?

Not yet. Im going for them for an hour, I just back from work, but vet keep them untill I come.
They have no cage unfortunatelly.

I have no car, so I can transport them to other town, sorry. To the vet Im taking a taxi.

the boys are comin 2 me 2 night i think i can hold them till some one wants 2 home them

thanks ,, there was an add on gumtree yesterday sum one givin away 3 males with hamsters an gerbles , an another 1 with 3 males there seems 2 be a lot of rattys lookin for homes latley just hope people dont dump them on streets

Carol - I contacted both these people, the one rehoming with the gerbils and hamsters, I think already homed the males, as when I emailed her add changed to just hamsters, and the other lad, I phoned, and he just kept saying "hello hello" so I assumed he couldn't hear me and texted him, but no reply. A friend of mine apparently organised to meet with him, but he never showed so don't think it was a genuine add.. I'd always try my best to get any rats off gumtree asap, because've the idiots looking for snakefood. Makes my blood boil.

Good luck Carol, fair play to ya I know Kirm was looking for one or two boys but don't know if she'd take three... I will try and get in touch with her and let her know about these guys. What are they like Carol? x

the girl just rang me she goin 2 collect them now an drop them over 2 me i will try get pics up of them and an age

the 3 boys are now with me, they are the 3 that wer on gumtree on sunday one black one gray an white an the other white they a bit nervous at the moment from travling so il let them rest an get sum pics 2moro , they look under a year old the white boy is smaller then other 2 , they seem friendly,, who ever takes them will get a cage with the boys as tinanka gave me a cage with them , so now its rest for them after the last few days of being messed around ,i will be looking 2 rehome all 3 toghter

About guys I can add, they were injected against parasite today. They really friendly, I was moving them form the box on my hand. The girl was keeping them in carton box with no water and food because was scared they can bite her!

Seriously?? Glad they're out of that now Hopefully they'll find a lovely new home soon

i cant find the wire 2 put pics of the boys up so il send them 2 my daughter an she will do them 4 me the black one an the white one seem very young the gray an white seems older the black fella is the nozy one of the bunch he will come over and take food from me the white man was shy but is coming around they gray fella just follows the black one around i havent gave them names as il leave that to there new owner hopefully that will be in carlow next wekend

these boys are still lookin 4 a forever home come on people some one must want boys
