Jack has a lump... Empty Jack has a lump...

Post by Francois Tue Jun 26, 2012 4:21 am

Yesterday, during playtime, my partner in crime pointed out she could feel a little lump just behind Jack's shoulder. I checked it and I could feel a little lump Sad
So today Jack went to the vet in Bray and we decided that Jack will have churgery to have it removed , as it may be just a cyst or maybe the beginning something nastier.

So Jack is scheduled for churgery on July the 7th...

Judging by where it sounds like it is, I would say a cyst. good luck.

It's not incorrect advice as such, but it's not great. I must admit the use of the word evasive all the way through is a little annoying... surely they mean invasive?

So Jack had its surgery, but it was not a cyst, neither a tumor... Smile

We were quite surprised to see that the lump, which had been growing over the last week, suddenly got smaller... Confused

It turned out we found a little wound, where the lump was.. the vet reported it was an abces and Jack seemed to have lanced it himself! Shocked

Anyways, the vet cleaned it out and Jack is back in his cage with Ted. We did take him out to dinner and treated him on steak. He was bruxing all the way home Big Grin

I guessed it may have been a cyst or abscess (the two can be very similar indeed) Smile great news!
