Bongo Fury Bayou Boy :*(

My lovely boy Gumbo passed away just after we got to Leeds. My brother sent me a message to let me know. I'm really upset, but not overly surprised, he was looking quite ropey when we left - but still OK. I think his brother Lazarus is going to be very very upset with his passing, he also is quite ropey and sick looking, so I don't know how much longer he'll decide to stay with us before he goes and finds his brother for company :*(

Gumbo was a lovely lad - very much his own rat - and until recently enough was still fit and young feeling - then he lost his brother Victor and went downhill. He was a lovely boy, very funny in how he felt about people - he was always like a little boy who you try to hug and he pushes you away with a scowl and a 'gerroff!' :-* He liked us, but on his terms - he wasn't cuddly... Lazarus is the exact opposite <3

He will be very sorely missed, as he was such a feature in the shed, everyone always wants to meet my old men <3 and I'm sad that he won't be around to show off anymore :*(
