Bongo Fury Lazarus

Where to begin? We've had a terrible run lately, losing so many lovely, special guys... Lazarus was no different. He was a super boy, brought back to us by his owner who was emigrating. He was the most gentle, sweet, loveable old soul we knew. Everyone commented on how sweet he was, and so licky. Far preferred human company to ratty company, but still pined terribly on losing his brother last week - and just couldn't go on. He practically gave up, and was really quite miserable.

He had a good night last night though, with lots of sloppy porridgey/nutrical food, and he dozed off with a full belly, and quietly passed away in his sleep, because by this morning, he was gone :*(

So many obitiuaries lately, it's awful... I'm so sorry you're having such a bad time of it, Laura... chin up, you do everything you can for your rats (and everyone else's!) He was gorgeous, he looked like a real squish Hope you're ok xxx

I'm so sorry you're having a bad time losing so many at the minute, especially such special ratties.
I remember when he was returned to you, I just wished so bad I could have him, he was so gorgeous and looked like a really friendly and cuddly boy.
