Another newbie

Hello, just joined in preparation for getting our first rats! I was looking for a pet for my son and someone recommended rats. The more I learn about them the more I can't wait to get some!

Welcome! Rats are amazing little creatures, sharp as bedamned and entertaining to boot!

Is there anyone in or near Dublin that would mind if we visited their rats? DS is seven and would really love a rat but he's never actually seen one in real life, just pictures. I want to make sure they are what he expects.
